ECS Financial Gives Thanks
Our ECS family has a lot to be thankful for this holiday season! Over the past year, our staff members have worked hard developing their professional careers, and have celebrated many accomplishments in their personal lives.
Nancy Geary was awarded the Certified Lease Professional Foundation’s Cindy Spurdle Award of Excellence for her outstanding contributions to the leasing industry! Nancy has been a partner at ECS Financial Services, Inc. since 1990. Her experience includes financial statement compilations, review and audits, business and personal tax planning and preparation, management consulting, and accounting and portfolio management services for equipment lessors and brokers. Nancy has served in various capacities on the boards of industry associations including NEFA, UAEL, ELFA, NAELB and the CLP Foundation, has written for various industry publications including the CLP Handbook of Leasing, and has been a speaker/instructor at numerous industry events. Shari Lipski was appointed as an Advisory Committee Member to the Board of Directors of Rockford Career College. The Advisory Committee is responsible for overseeing Official State Licensing Accreditation of the College for compliance with the American Veterinary Medical Association [AVMA], the Illinois Board of Higher Education [IBHE], and the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools [ACICS]. The Advisory Committee consists of almost two dozen people from RCC Board of Directors, RCC Staff, Illinois and Wisconsin Licensed Veterinarians, and a handful of public/industrial members. Lori Kerrick participated again this year in the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Give thanks. Walk. on November 23, 2013. Logan Anders was born August 26, 2013, to proud mommy Anne Dalgaard and her husband Andy.
Evan Ryan was born November 8, 2013, to happy daddy Tobey Wilson, his wife Tina and daughter Allison.
And fiancés…
Sinead Murphy enjoyed a long vacation home to Ireland this summer, where her boyfriend George proposed!
Greg Nicoll proposed to his college sweetheart in January, and Lauren said yes!
Eric Suh followed in Greg's footsteps and proposed to his girlfriend in April, right before tax season ended, and Joann said yes!
We are all very fortunate to have a great ECS family to work with, but we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for our clients. We are thankful for each one of you and wish you a safe and happy holiday season!
