The ECS internship stands

responsibility for the total client engagement. Opportunities exist to learn
all aspects of client needs -- from audit and accounting to taxes and
consulting -- and to develop real insight into how client relationships are
managed.
A springboard to permanent
employment: While an internship is no guarantee of permanent
employment at ECS, since the program's inception, we have offered permanent
jobs to more than 35 percent of our interns. Promising candidates may be
referred for positions with ECS clients or other business contacts, and
outstanding interns receive letters of recommendation that can promote future
career development.

Location: Located in Northbrook, Illinois, an upscale
Chicago suburb, ECS Financial Services, Inc. is only minutes from key retail and recreational
resources and within easy reach (by car or train) of Chicago's outstanding
cultural institutions.
Flexible timing:
ECS internships are available during three terms each year: Winter
(approximately January 1-April 30); Summer (approximately May 1 through August
15); or Fall (approximately August 16 through December 31). Hours may be full
time or part-time, and overtime may be required, depending on the season.
Basic requirements:
ECS internships are open to accounting majors at all levels. Interns must
provide their own transportation, have daily access to a vehicle and carry
automobile insurance.
Compensation:
ECS Financial Services, Inc. offers competitive internship compensation. In addition to the
monetary stipend, ECS also provides housing to those interns who do not reside
in the Chicago area.
